About not waiting for the “perfect time.”

About taking action—even when motivation wasn’t there.

Now it’s May.

And this is where things get real.

Summer isn’t “coming soon”… it’s basically here.

Longer days. More time outside. More events. More opportunities to either feel confident in your body—or wish you had started sooner.

But here’s the truth: You still have time to make serious progress.

Shift the Mindset: From Starting… to Building

April was the spark.

May is where we build momentum.

This is the phase where:

  • Workouts feel more routine

  • Strength starts increasing

  • Energy improves

  • Nutrition becomes more intentional

And most importantly— results begin to show if you stay consistent.

Not perfect.

Consistent.

Dial It In (Without Overcomplicating It)

You don’t need extremes to get in great shape for summer. You need structure.

Focus on:

  • Training with purpose (not just showing up)

  • Hitting your protein daily

  • Staying active outside the gym (walks, hikes, biking)

  • Limiting processed foods (not eliminating—just being aware)

This is where a plan matters. If you’re just “winging it,” you’re leaving results on the table.

The Summer Trap (Don’t Fall Into It)

Every year, people start strong… then fall off in May/June because:

  • Schedules get busier

  • Social events increase

  • Travel starts

  • “I’ll just get back on track Monday” becomes a cycle

Here’s how you avoid it:

  • Stop trying to be perfect

  • Learn how to balance your life WITH your goals

  • Stay consistent even when things aren’t ideal

You don’t need to be 100% locked in to see results. You just need to stop going 0%.

Train for More Than Just Looks

Yes—summer bodies are great.

But what we’re really building is:

  • Strength

  • Confidence

  • Energy

  • Discipline

When you feel strong, everything else follows.
