Spotlight: Kori

Kori has been a member of Littleton Fitness for over 7 years.

Before joining, she had been in and out of gyms for years and struggled to find a place where she felt like she truly belonged. Finding this gym changed that.

Her mental health is what originally brought her into training. While battling severe depression and anxiety, strength training gave her a sense of purpose and an outlet for what she was facing internally.

Her favourite training day has always been back day, and she’s definitely a morning trainer. One of her biggest challenges when starting out was finding confidence in herself. Right now, her focus is simply to continue building strength and working toward becoming the best version of herself. Her biggest achievement? Being able to say that she shows up for herself every day.

Kori says the gym has made her an overall healthier person — she feels happier, stronger, and truly blessed. What she enjoys most is the sense of community, where the bonds built feel more like family.
